Since most of our work is the development of custom made solutions for our customer needs, the patentability of software would lead to much higher costs due to expenses in patent inquiries. Our customers would have to pay the price or use standard applications that they would not be able or could not afford to customize. That would lead to money spent on "dead cows" instead of investments in their areas of competition. We also strongly oppose the idea of patenting our works, as we do not have the power to enforce our rights against some multi-million-dollar companies.
