The negative consequences of software patents will be noticed mainly by small and medium-sized software enterprises which have to invest time and money prior every product development for patent examination of even legal arguments. Compared to big companies such arguments are not bearable, it will endanger small companies and their jobs. Above all in reference to "trivial patents" software patents will hinder innovation in the whole sector.
