Software patents, will have a bad influence on nearly all European enterprises and other organisations.
Allowing patents on software as such, shall result in less innovation, less competition in software, and more risk for companies that use open source software.
Therefore organisations will have to spent more money on IT, which makes their work more expensive.
At the moment, our customers already benefit the competition by open source. This also applies for possible customers, since prices for their current solutions are getting lower as well.
The EC should do good in facilitating fair and open competition. Not in only protecting interests of big powerfull companies.
